Reading is Magic

Our goal is to help you teach children to read

Jeanette Stockon is the creator of the Reading is Magic computer program.  She is a California Reading Specialist who has worked for many years with bright children who have reading problems. Many of her students were dyslexic.  Other students just had a reading program at school that did not meet their needs.

Jeanette is aware that teaching reading skills to beginning readers is good start! She discovered along the way that certain students respond and are motivated by computer programs. She put this knowledge and her experience as a reading teacher to use. Jeanette and a clever animator built Reading is Magic, step by step. The program is fun and interactive, but each move by the student is meant to educate, not just to play games!  Jeanette'e goal truly is to teach reading to one student at time.
